Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, creator or Mario and Zelda says when working on the new Wii console and controller he knew he had a hit when it passed the "wife-ometer". It's a test of whether or not his wife likes a game, system, etc. He had her take the same test when working on the Nintendo DS Lite. He says that's when she became a gamer.
