A new report by the Entertainment Software Association estimates that in 2015 roughly half of the U.S. population plays video games and 42% play games at least three hours per week. With Mother's Day around the corner many might find it surprising that 44% of gamers are women. Here are five games we think the moms in your life will enjoy.

The hand-animated journey of Broken Age continues in Act 2. The game is a coming of age adventure filled with puzzles, telling two simultaneous stories of a teenage boy and girl. As the player you're able to switch between the two at any time throughout the game where each is in two very different worlds. The character voices include Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Masasa Moyo.
