Rose Brut Non-Vintage Reims, France
The Lanson Rose Label is a blend of three champagne grape varieties: 32% chardonnay, 53% pinot noir, 15% pinot meunier. They are vinified in the traditional manner; a small amount of quantity of pinot noir is vinified as red wine which gives the champagne its light salmon color. There are aromas of roses and raspberries on the nose.

1998 Pol Roger Chardonnay Brut Champagne Ac, Extra Cuvée De Réserve, France
Another favorite, this champagne has a fantastic warmth, toastiness and yeasty folds of flavor. It boasts aromas of ripe pears and green apple. If you haven't tried vintage-dated champagne, now's the time. Try the shabby-chic combo of bubbly with fried chicken or fish and chips... new vistas of pleasure await you.

With its aromas of white flowers, apple and hazelnuts, this is the Rolls-Royce of Champagnes. This elegant bubbly is immensely concentrated, full-bodied and silky smooth and demands fine foods like caviar, smoked salmon or tuna tartare. It may also be aged for up to 10 years.
